Artifacts-
The First email I sent to my mentor Kandyce to get my project started for the South Park Inn and my first response back.
I started a collection drive for the South Park Inn shelter. I made flyers, put them up around school and decorated boxes to put in classrooms to collect the donations.
My collection drive lasted for about 3 weeks an I ended up with about 203 singular items to donate to the shelter. The class that brought in the most donations won Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, the donuts were donated by the Farmington Company.
This is a picture of some items I had to throw away because they were either old, dented, opened, or had no label. ( If an item had no label it had to be thrown away.)

After you're done sorting the items you put them in a box and slide them on to the conveyor belt. Then there are other people sorting the items into categories. ( Putting food with food, Hygiene items with hygiene items etc..)
|
After all the products are sorted and packaged up they are then sold at very low prices to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries and etc.
This is a picture of my testimony. It was written by Jade Stoltz she took the place of Kandyce at the South Park Inn.
